summer musings
Hellllllloooo worldwide web!!!! I used to really enjoy writing until I started to forget how to so hopefully this kind of helps me with that. No more run-on sentences Reagan please!!! Anyway, I wanted to talk about my summer because I actually have a summer to talk about! What the hell? I thought the summer before junior year was kind of the best it was ever going to get if I'm being honest. However, that's not the case! Truthfully, out of every summer I've experienced so far, this has been my favorite. I got to meet Marisol, my friend since my first fan account days. For a whole week! We went everywhere I could think of to take her. I don't think I've ever done more in my home state than I did while she was here. We went to a cave, a huge cliff, multiple graveyards, multiple aquariums, and so much more. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to add some of my favorite photos. I've spent the rest of the time in Florida with Niko basically. And the rest of our little rag-tag group of friends of course but let's be real, dear journal, I've been with him either via text, call, or in-person. Don't mistake this for a complaint! I truly would not want it any other way quite honestly. I don't really know when this became the case and I'm guessing it was happening way before it appeared on my radar, but I find myself wanting to be around him whenever the chance arises. I enjoy his laugh and .......................when I'm the reason for it, I think. I also think I should shut up and change the subject pretty shortly because what the hell am I saying at this point. I'm also realizing that I'm using a lot of passive tone which gives me something to work on for my next entry along with my syntax. I want to write about Niko and I's trip to Universal's new theme park and Islands of Adventure! Just wait, dear journal, til I describe the Monsters Unchained ride. So many animatronics. I was truly close to finding nirvana on that ride. Maybe that can go for the entire trip. Anyway, I'm going to wrap it up here. Sorry for the ugliness of this page!! Bye Bye Journal!!!!

as 2025 concludes...
Hello again worldwide web! It has been so long, too long! To be fully transparent I have had a little bit to drink tonight, dear reader, but I assure you that it won’t impact my writing. Or maybe it will. I do not know yet! Also, are you okay with the reader title? I technically have a journal already and she’s very special to me. Plus, it gives me the chance to pretend like someone is actually reading these. I get to be respectful to my password-protected truth chamber and feel valued! A win-win! Where to start… Oh, reader! I don’t even know where to begin! There’s been so much happening to me lately I feel as if I tried to recount it all this would turn into an essay much too long for anyone to read. I guess that shouldn’t matter though, right? This is MY website and I get to decide the rules. I also do Not want to be too formal here either, so my apologies if you were searching for that. Obviously, I want to improve my writing skills, but I’m going to spend the rest of my life making sure articles are perfectly written and I want to keep this as a hobby!
Maybe I should start with Epic since I teased you all with it before. Man, oh, man! It was seriously unreal to walk into the Super Mario area. There was a constant ‘ding!’ as kids all around me collected their coins and I don’t know, that really added to the whole experience rather than overwhelm me. We (Niko and I) rode the Mario Kart ride, which was so cool! We spent the first day we were there at Islands of Adventure so to go from the Cat in the Hat ride (love you still fish toilet) to this fully fleshed out ride was pretty breathtaking. I mean, everywhere I looked I could see something new with no open space! Then it was time for Dark Universe. You guys!!!! Holy shit! The windmill was on fire. There was a traveling cart filled with deliciously devious trinkets. We rode two rides in this area: Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment and The Curse of the Werewolf. The Werewolf was really fun! We got to spin freely in our car, so that was pretty sick! But Monsters Unchained, dear reader, was Incredible! We started with a Phantom of the Opera animatronic and they never let up. Each animatronic was almost more impressive than the last. I would do absolutely anything for Victoria even if it meant I shared the same fate as poor Igor. Words cannot accurately describe how insane it was to experience up close. I was laughing with pure euphoria all the way through. After Dark Universe, Niko and I realized that we had apparently decided to come to Epic Universe during the hottest time of the year and got some food before heading back to our hotel. This hotel also has my Nintendo 3DS which was really special to me, but oh well. I called so many times to try to get it back! I miss my favorite boy Pietro and I hope he hasn’t moved away from my Animal Crossing town. Disregarding that, I really couldn’t have asked for a greater experience. I had so much fun exploring with Niko and even though he told me not to touch those mummies in the queue of Monsters Unchained, I was really grateful that he was willing to go back with me and I hope he enjoyed it too!
I had to go home shortly after that but for the 21 days after my original entry here, we stayed at my place and basically ate crepes and binged a shit ton of movies. I had to go back to Georgia for a month eventually, but I got to go to Shaky Knees while I was there so I really can't complain on that front. I got to see so many incredible artists that the negative feelings from being home don't really matter. Truly an experience I'll never forget and I hope I get to experience more music festivals in the future. After that, I was home for a bit longer before I booked it back to Florida. It just so happened to be right before one of my best friends, Blake, would be coming to visit! We were
